LOVE IN FISHDOM.
X
This is no “fish” story as the term is usually referred to, but it is a story about fish. Jim Foster, student of fish affairs, vouches for its authenticity.
Jim has a collection of big live fish in a small aquarium in a down-town restaurant and for 12 hours every night he watches them perform.
“The fish are very affectionate,” declared the fish student. “They are good-tempered and kind toward one another. See those two largest fish? They are ‘married,’ I guess, or else in love with each other. They always kiss each other’s mouths. The female of the two never puts her cold fins on the male one’s back. And in the morning—say, it’s amusing to watch them yarn and stretch themselves.”
